We prepare our students to lead successful lives through the exceptional diversity of our community and extracurricular experiences that contribute to the development of the whole person.
There is no wealth like knowledge, no poverty like ignorance. Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib

The middle years are a period of transition – cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically. At HRIA we want our middle schoolers to take risks, to develop a strong sense of self and to increase their level of independence and responsibility. We want our students to feel actively engaged, connected to our community and fully prepared for the new experiences and challenges high school will bring.
A point of pride in our high school is our focus on preparing our students to be college ready from the start of high school. All HRIA teachers also teach in grades 9 and 10 to expose our students to the vocabulary, skills and assessment style required to be ready for these rigorous courses and therefore transition to university with confidence.
