Mission

The Islamic Studies Department focuses on Quran, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Law, Arts, Culture, and World Religions.

Introduction

The Department is unique among all Punjab Public Sector universities as it offers four specializations and a wide range of intensive courses and workshops under each specialization that keeps the students abreast with the classical as well as contemporary scholarship on Islam. It provides the students with requisite knowledge to understand Islam in contemporary scenario enables them to face the challenges posed to Muslims in this era of globalization.
